I love

I love that when I first saw her it was my soul finally reaching it’s last lifetime.

As soon as my lips touched hers in perfect harmony, I knew I never had to search again.

I love how her hair curls like grapevines of gold; free and as soft as the glow of the last hour before sunset.

I love the roar of her laugh, echoing in my ears, full of life and adventure, awakening my inner child.

The way the sun kisses her skin and how her eyes mirror the ocean reminding me of home.

I love

How every shade of love she colors my life with, cannot fit a rainbow because she paints hues I’ve never seen.

Her smile could calm the storms that rage in my being that would’ve turned into hurricanes.

I love loving her even when she doesn’t know how to let me and with every indecisive pause I make, she lets me choose.

And I choose her, every time, and I’ve chosen her for many lifetimes.

I love

Every breath in her embrace, every blink in her sleepy gaze.

I love how she loves herself even with tears in her eyes, even with all the noise that clouds her mind sometimes.

I love

The way she honors her spirit, trusts her intuition and blames her moods on the moon.

And like the moon, she goes through phases, but no matter what, she is still whole.

I love you, love.
